This is a heavy hide for durability, while also soft and cozy. Bison hide is the most durable hide, and moulds beautifully to the feet with wear, and holds its shape over time.

It is best for moccasins to start snug allowing them to shape and mould to the feet with wear. Water, a light sock, wearing around the house, all help with the process of loosening and softening of the hide.
